A sprinkler that is not installed properly is prone to failure, says a leading Italian engineering company.
The sprinkler installation in the Football Italian’s football pitch has been causing a problem since early August, causing the pitch to swell, according to the company’s director.
The football pitch in the city of Genoa has been growing steadily since October, and it now covers 5,600 metres in length.
According to the project director of the company, Giovanni Di Stefano, the problem is caused by a lack of the necessary plumbing for the installation of the sprinkler.
The problem is that there are not enough pipes for the sprinklers to pass through, Di Stefana says, adding that a “special” system of plumbing is needed to accommodate the new sprinklers.
Di Stefano added that the company is currently working on a new installation.
“The installation will be done by January and the football pitch will be filled with water,” he said.
This is not the first time that the football field has grown in the Italian city.
According to Italian authorities, the football fields in Rome, Turin, Milan and Rome have also grown, and there are currently around 1,200 hectares of turf being developed in the northern city of Pozzallo.
